To Clean your Jewellery

Mix mild soap with lukewarm water. Use a soft toothbrush to gently scrub the item, focusing on any hard-to-reach areas. Repeat the process using clean water if dirt remains.

It's important to be gentle when cleaning gold-plated jewelry as excessive rubbing can cause the plating to wear off. To restore shine to your jewelry, you can use a special silver-polishing cloth. However, this method will not remove any scratches or dents on the jewelry.

To Preserve your Jewellery

It should be stored in a cool, dark place away from sunlight or heat. A padded jewelry box or tarnish-resistant bag is a good option. You can also store them in individual airtight plastic bags. Avoid using rubber containers as they can cause accelerated tarnishing and darkening of the jewelry. Do not store your jewelry in a bathroom or any humid location.

With that said, all jewelleries are capable of tarnishing. It really depends on how you care for it, and sometimes even body chemicals may change the appearance of the jewellery. Following a jewellery cleaning regimen and care best practices can preserve the life of your jewellery and keep it looking great for the years to come.
